Our story

When Magalys Noguera arrived in this country as an asylum seeker, she saw an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others going through the same process. It was then that she met Jessica, and together they founded Roots for Change UK, an organisation dedicated to helping people learn new skills, discover their potential, and feel embraced within a community. Despite Jessica’s departure, Magalys has continued to develop projects and forge partnerships, bringing hope and opportunities to everyone involved. This is our story of resilience, compassion, and the power of unity,

What drives us?

We believe that every individual deserves to live with dignity and have equal opportunity for growth. As former asylum seekers, we have first hand experiences of the challenges you must face throughout the system and the negative impact this has on their lives.
